Okereke was on my radar from day one. But I thought once they inked Edwards, that would be it. With all the areas of need, especially in the trenches, I never had signing two LBs as a must-do. But I'll wait to see how this all plays out.

But giving it more thought, if it turns out true that we also sign Okereke, this obviously means Sanborn will be slotted over to the SAM. No way the Bears sign TJ Edwards and not have him man the MIKE, just no way. And we all know that Okereke can handle the WILL.

Right now, without Okereke, Edwards is likely the will. But definitely with Okereke Sanborn becomes your Hunter Hillenmeyer at SAM.

Edwards wore the green dot for the Eagles and he just makes too much sense as a MLB.
