I defy anyone to show me a better stretch than OSU in 2014/2015 against Wisconsin, Bama and Oregon (#2, 4, 13). That team also won by 12 on the road @ the #5 team.
We beat #2, 3 and 5 by an average score of 44-30 and beat #13 by 59. And this is in an age of actual parity in college football.
Let me just pull up the '94/'95 stretch real quick, or do I even need to...
Have a seat.
They're in the same air as the Bulls of the 90's and Tommy was their Jordan.

Where any of you posters alive then? I mean back when Nebraska was legit?

Kansas was the 9th ranked team that year. That says it all.The Final Poll in 1995 read as such:
1. Nebraska
2. Florida
5. Colorado
7. Kansas State
9. Kansas
62-24
44-21
49-25
41-3
Parity. And shit.
By what metric? The Nebraska fans have already schooled you on this, but for the record any playoff winner is going to have a similar road, the only reason for your playoff opponents to be higher ranked is because you didn't beat them bad enough...last year Mich St dropped to 6. The winner of close playoff games should probably always leave their opponents in the 2 and 4 spot and any decent conference should have their runner up ranked...unless of course their best team isn't in the CCG...so, congrats on being average.
How 'bout Alabama in 2011, we had to play the #1 team twice...too soon?
Agree 100%.
OU to the B1G???
