Lemme just jump into this bizarre Peters discussion. The question as I understand it was do I want 5 years of Gallo or Peters. I choose Peters because I'll get 75% of the performance for 5-10% of the cost.

But obviously all things considered Peters wouldn't crack my ideal roster.

Well for me I go Gallo if cash not a consideration due to upside. Garcia though is playing a pretty good RF. I would keep him there and we need a CF to pan out or go get one.
I do think we need to field a young team so no quick fix interests me. Maybe something in the trade market

I certainly don't hate Gallo. I hope he goes on to have a solid career with whoever Boras convinces to overpay him.

I recognized all but the 8th and 9th hitters. Moller is the catcher that we just drafted, the one Keith Law said he couldn't find a scout that thought he would be able to hit.

I don’t hate Gallo I had got tired of poor batting average. Hell I remember when he had more homers than singles. I hope all the best to him but not here

Re Gallo He is obviously better than Peters but not the right guy for us in a current rebuild. Definitely would help if he could shorten swing ans curb the strikeouts. Not a value player right now.
Funny thought he netted us a lot more players via trade worth more than Peters
