Looks like we're gonna get that number down by 2 tonight boys
I don’t think he is better than Gallo. I do think he has shown possibilities and promise. And I think he deserves the time to see if those possibilities and promise pan out.Joey Gallo is more valuable than DJ Peters.
That’s why Joey Gallo was traded for 4 prospects and Peters was picked up on waivers.
Gallo has hit more HRs and probably will continue to do so. Gallo has a far higher OBP and will probably continue to.
Gallo has a GG and a canon for an arm. DJ Peters will probably never win a gold glove or even be in the top 10 in assists.
Gallo is an .800-900 OPS guy.. Peters will struggle to be a .720+OPS guy.
How could anyone think DJ Peters is better than Gallo?
Too much to ask we get swept?Looks like we're gonna get that number down by 2 tonight boys

I can argue with any of that but I feel better about his possibilities than I do about Calhoun and several others that some want to keepHe’s definitely athletic and toolsy.
Just hard to believe in a guy that couldn’t hit above .245 in AA and doesn’t have a high OBP.
He had a .600s ops in the minors this year and is having a .600s ops now in the majors.
He’s fun to watch and definitely protectable, but the clock is ticking.
If he was hitting .250/.335/.440 I would be a little more inclined to believe in him.
Or if he had a year or 2 in the minors where he hit .290/.360/.500 I would be all about him.
He just hasn’t hit enough in the minors or majors yet for me to believe in him.
Just my opinion
We would be right back in the race if the Indians can hold on. I never expected that.Looks like we're gonna get that number down by 2 tonight boys
I am sure your opinion is shared by a lot of folks. I know I share it.He’s definitely athletic and toolsy.

Last games as Indians. To get to .500. I’m sure there’s a certain amount of pride left in them.We would be right back in the race if the Indians can hold on. I never expected that.

Ah, but the old sheriff is in charge of the new one, so...New sheriffs in town, don't forget

It is Adam Morris' fault. LolLemme just jump into this bizarre Peters discussion. The question as I understand it was do I want 5 years of Gallo or Peters. I choose Peters because I'll get 75% of the performance for 5-10% of the cost.
But obviously all things considered Peters wouldn't crack my ideal roster.
