and the first 3 seasons have no bearing on the current season. They are all (mostly) independent stories with some references here and there.

Seems to be some question as to the origin of the hitman in season 2 tied back to this season but I'd suspect it's largely irrelevant

I think each season had strange things going on, at least once. Raining frogs in season 1, UFOs in season 2, I cannot remember what in season 3 if any. Now ghosts....as long as its not a huge part of the story it works for me.

I think this ghost(or whatever you wanna call it) was intended just to show the feeling of dread she had at that moment... She ran to see if her girl friend was alive... and thought for a few moments that she was dead...

without the ghost there, the random freak out would have just looked random... it was a device to show the mood... and probably nothing more...

I think each season had strange things going on, at least once. Raining frogs in season 1, UFOs in season 2, I cannot remember what in season 3 if any. Now ghosts....as long as its not a huge part of the story it works for me.

They did have those random elements. But this felt like something more. Guess we'll see if they follow up on it.

If I remember correctly the UFOs were unimportant with almost no real significance. I bet the same thing is going on here. There's some gonna be some "deep meaning" or something that the writers will explain but overall it's not going to matter.

I think the same dude who created Fargo also created Legion so the over the top artsy shit could be worse. Legion full on disappeared up its own ass during the final season and a half. Fargo isn't anywhere near that goofy. This season has been great so far.

I never bothered with the final season of Legion. That show was a chore to get through from the start. Aubrey Plaza was a pleasure to watch, but even her work was over-the-top, look-at-me TV.
