Giants had Drew Lock above Penix and Nix when considering QB in the draft at pick 1.06, wow!
I could prolly sign off on that.

Not that I value Drew Lock that highly. But Penix and Nix weren’t first rounders imo. Penix prolly wouldn’t even be on my draft board tbh. Old and injury prone.

And rather have Danny Dimes. Which is, sad, but true.

They've been saying that for 10 years.

Chip Kelly was given enough power to actually ruin the Eagles cap and he did.

Howie Roseman did a spectacular job cleaning it up very quickly and has continued to kill it ever since.
As long as paying the piper remains two years away, it's not real.

if that's as recent as it gets, I'll take that as a no
I don't think there are any other recent Achilles tears for QBs.

Thomas Sirk of Duke, unspectacular QB who after recovering transferred to East Carolina for the 2017 season and won offensive player of the week once, fwiw. Signed as an NFL UDFA but never played in a game.

Makes for an interesting start to the season for Jets and Falcons

Like… what if Cousins isn’t ready and Penix has a great pre-season and lights it up the first weeks?

If their goal is to win a SB, then captain Kirk starts once he's ready. Zero rookie QBs have won a SB so far, don't think Penix is the one to break that streak

Odell to the Dolphins, not sure that equates to much fantasy relevance but should be good for Tua to have a 3rd option

Maybe the Dolphins should trade for DaVante Adams and Cooper Kupp too. 14 INT's is underwhelming. Not a fan of Tua, he shits the bed in big games. It obviously isn't all his fault and Miami lost key players this offseason.

Claypool to the BIlls..maybe Josh Allen can unlock him in ways Pickett and Feilds could not?

I know what you mean about Tua. There's something "soft" about him.

Claypool needs a large ego check. Three taxi squads in as many years should do it. I don't mind this dart throw.

Allen made a point to get him some size.

Just added 2 pass catchers with their first two picks the last 2 years that are 6'4.

Raiders sign Guyton. Ugh.
Now they have D. Adams, a miscast slot receiver playing outside, and 3 guys who don't have a whole lot to their game other than 'go deep', Gallup being the closest thing to a prototypical secondary outside receiver, but even he is better just going deep than anything else.

But Guyton and Tre Tucker? may as well be the exact same dude.

And they still have nothing but Minshew and O'Connell to throw to any of these guys. Sometimes I just don't get it

Don't get this one either. I actually thought Tre Tucker had some hope.

That said, I've told you this before: I really like Antonio Pierce and his old school way of thinking.

Let's see what happens.

All this said, I'm still surprised they didn't draft the Rattler. I thought that was a no brainer.

You're making me like Bowers more and more.
