Barf. Rams are trading Robinson and eating $10 million in salary to move up 17 spots in the seventh round.

They couldn't get rid of him fast enough. Yeesh.

Either he's badly damaged goods or Pittsburgh is getting a great deal.

(And... LA not STL.)
LA, stL..whatever ;)

As long as they don't invest an early pick in a rook. .... I'd agree, needle points up a bit for him.
I always take the annual rookie hype with a grain of salt, but for a WR class many say is not very good, there sure are a lot of WR projected/mocked in the top 150 of the draft

Well, new toys are always attractive to a lot of people. But often the old windups are better. ..

My view of the WRs is that there's no A+ or maybe even A, but a whole lot of A- and B+ guys.

Imo, there shouldn't be a single WR going top 15. I do think in general there is a lack of first round grades (wouldnt be shocked if teams only had 15-20) and that might push up some 2nd round WR prospects but even then I think they might go a bit later than people expect.

I think there are a lot of B and B- guys. Average starters and guys who might be average starters. There is a reason the Bears traded to the team that gave them a WR.

Agreed, although I would make one exception, the dude from Ohio State. He seems legit.

But the rest, yeah, no thanks. Some are more intriguing than others, but first round? I'd rather get a OL/DL/DB/LB..hell, even a RB.

With JSN you can point to his change of direction skills and acceleration as elite so I do have him as WR1, too. I think Josh Downs also has elite traits in those areas but his size brings his stock down quite a bit. Tank Dell would also probably be talked up if it wasnt for his size. JSN is 6'1" 196. He is also 21 so that probably means he is a better prospect than Kincaid at TE who is 23. So I think JSN probably goes after Bijan but before Kincaid. Not sure about LB but those other positions have players who should go pretty high. So for me Id have JSN somewhere in that 15-20 range.

I guess to put it in perspective, DJ Turner is probably on par with Zay Flowers as a prospect based on my eyeball test. I did a mock draft on this site and picked up DJ Turner as CB10. Zay Flowers is probably WR2.

I do hope Im wrong. Certainly Chiefs fans want to be super pumped at the Chiefs trading up and taking some stud #1 WR but I'm not sure I see one.

They should just trade for Nuk and call it a day

I know the Chiefs GM last year was told by the owner that they can't trade away their first rounder because the draft is in KC. Not sure a late 2nd gets Nuk. Although maybe thats not the hold up.

Chiefs GM might be more worried about Life After Kelce than what they have next year.

If they can win one more Super Bowl with Kelce I'm not sure it matters what life after Kelce would look like. Of course this is coming from somebody who's team hasn't won a Super Bowl since I've been alive and has only been to 1 in that time.

From the rumors, I would suspect they wouldn't need to deal their #1, just make room under the cap. I wouldn't be surprised if a third gets it done, I'd you take on the entire contract.
And like Bandit said, get that second, third, maybe even more, Lombardi trophy in the trophy case, worry about life after Kelce later. When your window is open, you go all in for as long as it's there.

You'll still have Mahomes tho.
Tyreek was a main cog and KC didnt miss a beat after he left.

I would say that last year proved Kelce was the main cog, Hill while no doubting he's elite, wasn't the straw that stirred the drink
Best trade that I have made in a while In one of Bandit's dynasty leagues IMO. Just last week:
He gets Waddle and Mac Jones
I get Kelce and Lamarr Jackson
He has Hurts as his starter and has been after Waddle for some time. If Jackson plays I go from bottom tier to contender.

You crushed that deal imho

And I'm a believer in Waddle
