Chase Edmonds swaps teams with Bradley Chubb. Sounds like the Dolphins wanted to get rid of that ridiculous contract. Edmonds ins't going to threaten Gordon or Lat Murray..that's how bad he is. But maybe he can get back to what he does do well, catch swing passes and running for 12 yards on a 3rd and 15 draw play.

well, familiar with the system, familiar with playing a backup role in a effed up committee..yep sounds about right
Don't forget he's once again playing behind a very injury prone starter. ;)

Moss for Nyheim…

Kind of a waste. Would have preferred safety help, but better than breaking the bank for Kamara etc

was hoping you'd have already weighed in on this one.

I think it's entirely unnecessary, but the cost is about right, and Hynes is better than Moss as that COP role

sure it does,
Colts are hopeless this year, Moss is cheaper, and more expendable, so they can beat him up instead of Taylor in some of these meaningless games, and they pick up another pick. its a late one, but more than they would've had if they kept Hynes and still missed the playoffs

And Hunt stays in CLE...
Word is they insisted on a 4th.
Which is crazy if you think about it.... they backed up the bank for every massage therapist's nightmare.... but they're firm on a 4th rounder for Hunt.

severe overpay for Chubb, who will likely go immediately to the Dolphins IR within a week or two.
I'd give more for Roq, but this is more the Dolphins mistake in overpaying than the Bears error in not getting enough. The fact that Roq was no longer an option may have played a role in Chubb being valued higher as well. Had the Bears waited until after CHubb was dealt, maybe that'd be swapped around

kinda surprised no one was willing to pay a 4th for him. I figured a 3rd would have been reasonable

And how about the Jags getting RIdley? they'll have a very nice looking WR room next year. Lawrence best have his shit together, because the weapons are there

Yeah. Not sure Hines is any better than Duke, but it was cheap.

And we traded for safety help too (depth, but familiar depth in Dean Marlowe).

Tre White was activated.

Go Bills!

Experienced solid back for the passing game in Hines.

Agreed. Hines for Moss was a solid deal for the Bills. As for the future, maybe Singletary gone? Cook and Hines or Hines and Cook? Whatever, for this year at least, it's a nice pickup. This offense just got better, hard to believe that may be.

Shenanigans Part 2: Wtf is goin' on here?

Brandin Cooks (wrist/not injury related) did not practice Tuesday.

His wrist apparently wasn't too hurt, though, as he was able to like several Tweets leading up to the trade deadline that speculated that he might be moved. He also posted a pitch-perfect Denny Carter impersonation after the trade deadline passed with him still on the team. We're not entirely sure if Cooks will play or not in Week 9 is what we're saying.
