Dude nailed last year's class so I hope this is true. Butler is better, but at worst equal, to Lynch and Atwater IMO.

I'd take Butler over Lynch, but I've got Atwater second only to Ronnie Lot, and alone in that second place. Butler was a friggin stud regardless of being 2B or #3 or wherever though.
Ware deserves first ballot status, if only Dallas could've not choked a time or two and gotten him a SB outside of the one he coattailed in Denver.

I went to school with Sam Mills and remember afterwards when he was a bouncer at a popular local bar called Pier Pub.

He was a great dude and worked hard to achieve his goals. Imo, he more than succeeded.

The NFL could stand to have more players like him these days.

I’d be fine with Atwater at the same level. They had different responsibilities. Lynch played on an elite defense and wasn’t even top three of options to worry about imo

Fasten your seatbelts, folks. It's gonna be a bumpy ride.

I absolutely think there is smoke to this fire. I expect some kind of quiet settlement. Most NFL owners are a group of good ol' boys, no judgement from me just a statement, so I would not be shocked at any of this holding some truth.

definitely blackballed by the owners/league, but also definitely did himself no favors if he truly wanted to play QB in the NFL.

Dude's 36 years old and is having a mid life crisis?

Lol, the Super Bowl must be nearing.

Forget about any type of serious reporting, it's total media time! :pound::pound::pound:

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported than Sean McVay texted him that he is committed to the Rams and to coaching.

McVay mused on Friday about work/life balance and whether he would coach into his 60s. McVay seemed luke warm on coaching for another 24+ years, which snowballed into speculation that he could walk off into the sunset after a Super Bowl win. ESPN's Lindsey Thiry reported that McVay has "considered working as a television analyst as an alternative to coaching." It’s highly possible that McVay finds that prospect appealing down the line, but the 36-year-old appears to be several years away from a career change.

well that's a given, I was more concerned with how he rotates or doesn't rotate his RB's, if his offenses favored outside or inside receivers or TE's..in addition to how he did without Brady. Partially I wanted those answers because everyone always says the Patriots and their RB's are just impossible to predict..well no, not really, the numbers don't bare that out with McD at the helm, the numbers pretty much prove that he prefers one early back, and a third down back, or one guy to do it all, if he has one that can get the job done. Only time its ever truly unpredictable is when the current roster situation demands otherwise, whether that's available talent or lack thereof, or if that's due to injuries. So I think I found answers that I personally can live with. And, he wasn't too shabby with Cassel and Squishy Mac, the only times his offenses truly weren't above average was with NeckBeard/Tebow, and Sam Bradford.
Edited...oh and Cam Newton...but a staff of BIll Walsh, Mike Martz, and both Shannahanns couldn't get a good offense outta that guy at that point in his career.
The rest of ya can take it for what its worth, read into it whatever you'd like, or not. Like I said, I was bored, I had all night, so I posted it :)

The reason the Pats got a bad rap for their RB usage in fantasy circles was because there would be entire games where they would not run the ball at all, and their 3rd down specialist would dominate.

Then the next week, their 1st down grinder would get 25 carries.

However, it was usually predictable. Teams that had pass funnel defenses would get thrown on all day. Teams that overcommitted to stopping Brady and the passing game would get the ball run down their throats.

It was merely week to week game planning against opponents’ defensive tendencies.

I'm torn.

The taunting rule sucks and is total BS.

On the other hand, the celebrations, whether it be a TD or a freakin' first down when your team is losing are downright embarrassing.

STFU and talk smack when you deserve to. Such as: making a play to help your team win.

I have spoken!

Well..when a player leaves the bench to do something..ya kinda don't have a choice but to flag it...and not even just a player, but an inactive one in street clothes no less...smdh

That was possibly the stupidest thing I've seen in a Super Bowl, ever
