They also acquired Melvin Ingram, as a Charger, he formed a pretty sweet 1-2 with Joey Bosa, pairing him with Chandler Jones could end up with a decent fantasy D
Chandler Jones is in KC?

At least, for Packer fans, this gives Love 3 full days of practice with the starters.

Not sure how effective he will be with less than a week of time with the playbook but we will see. Packers will lean on their run game but coaches need to show Love where Sorensen is while on the field at all times.

Packers discarded J. Smith awfully quickly...

Well damn. Chiefs D just become an instant-streamer?

Saw a news feed that said Aaron Rodgers was vaccinated. Fairly certain that is not true. He has been telling others he is "immunized."

I thought that I read that he is not vaccinated as well. I think they said because of that, he may miss next week's game, also.

the one I read specifically said he was not, meaning it was an automatic 10 day minimum away from the team/facility, which is why he was ruled out already and not just "on the list" needing 2 negative tests in 48 hours, to be activated-which would leave open the possibility he could play this week.

Still would need to produce 2 negative tests 24 hours apart to be cleared... Not seeing it based on my personal experience. I was vax'd in March (pfizer) and just tested positive 10/9. It kicked my ass for 2-3 days and I was fatigued for over a week past that. Could barely walk around the house without needing to sit down. Rodgers' efficacy will depend on when he got vax'd, but if he's anything like me then he's out for at least 1 week.

Unvax'd means he would be out 10 days or something like that?

Didn't they almost have a deal done with the Saints? Now, they are just going to cut him? I thought the Browns were supposed to be turning the corner on boneheaded moves.

pretty sure Rodgers is out until next Saturday, he got the 10-day lockdown, so he'll miss practice up to the next game as well

@TREFF - I just read on espn that Rams and Broncos did engage about Von Miller in that Kenny Young/6th rd pick trade, but Rams couldn't take on the salary, which is prob why the deal went up to a 2nd and a 3rd with Broncos paying the bills.

Yeah they couldn't take him bc they have little to no room under cap to absorb the $8M owed this season.

They are better without him. Literally, they play better without him.

Holy crap - Ruggs slammed on the brakes and slowed down 29 miles per hour before he hit that car... from 156 to 127.

Should I drop McNichols and pick up Landry in my full PPR league? I just picked up McNichols this morning. LOL. I am very solid at RB already.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 and will not play Week 9 against the Chiefs.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Rodgers is unvaccinated, meaning he will be forced to miss at least 10 days. Green Bay's Week 10 game is only 11 days from today, making Rodgers questionable for that matchup as well. This development is another COVID hit for an offense that was without two of their top receivers last week. Those receivers are expected to return against the Chiefs, but they will now be catching passes from Jordan Love, whose seven career pass attempts all came late in Green Bay's blowout loss to New Orleans Week 1. Even in a great matchup, Love is nothing more than a risky streaming option, and it will be tough to trust anyone on Green Bay's offense not named Davante Adams or Aaron Jones for fantasy purposes.
