I'm almost thinking they put Moore or Samuel on the block now - or during the season, so they don't have to pay either of them.
But agree completely - very weird signing. What are they doing in Carolina?!?!

Oh, please let them put Samuel on the block. Please! :pound::pound::pound:

for sure - I haven't understood the constant linking of FA QBs to the Chargers, other than the fact they lost Rivers. But everyone assumes that they're drafting one of the top 3 QBs (let's be real, #2 or #3, as Cincy has Burrows locked up).

Seems like a perfect fit for a rookie QB to learn the ropes behind a solid defense, great receiving options in Allen/MikeW/Henry/Ekeler....one of the rare instances I support putting a rookie QB in immediately.
Yeah, I know. I could understand Foles, or Bridge, or Dalton..but they already have that with Thai Stick..so..yeah, I don't get the rumors, and if they bear fruit, I'm really stunned

vikings seem like a perfect landing spot for a deep threat, wonder who they get to play oppo Thelien this year. Gave Kirk too much money to not try to do everything to win now

A dude likke Samuel could fit damned near any team, and virtually any team would be a better fit than Carolina..lol. You stick him on virtually any pass first type off offense, especially those that focus on short quick passes to playmakers..wow. Dude can be a deep threat, but he's so great in the open after the catch. I mean, if he was in KC, I'd dump all my Hardman stock in a heartbeat

Cousin cap hit is 21 million, not that severe as QBs go.

I get that, hell, Teddy freakin' Bridgewater got 63 mil for 3 years. That said, I can't stand Captain Kirk unless he finally proves me wrong. Maybe it's the offensive play calling. I think things will be decided this year, especially for the fact that they paid Kirk and let Everson Griffen walk because they didn't have the money.

I dislike Rick Spielman very much.

@SmokingMonkey , your boy Perriman signed...with the Jets...ughh. Barring a big draft class, should be a free line to targets at least

Actually like that landing spot. Darnold isn't the worst, no other deep threats on the roster, Bell and crowder make the defense pay attention to the short game

latest blurb from Arians is that they'll look to add a pass catching RB to compliment RoJo

anybody worth taking notice on the FA front?
Really can't think of any that are left that would be useful for fantasy, but we all know TB12 will pepper a RB if that's what the defense is giving....I'd imagine if Godwin/Evans are healthy, that's exactly what a defense will be giving them in most games.

pick 3.76 or 4.117, you've been put on notice!

Lewis signed with Giants already

Riddick/Thompson....so yeah, nothing exciting there. I guess I'd put Thompson over Riddick if I had to rank them, but man they both have a lot of injury baggage they are carrying around

So the local yocal dudes were once again discussing the Broncos backfield.. Most are convinced this will be much more of a Derrick Henry/Dion Lewis type time share than it will be a D. Freeman/T. Coleman one. They say, the in the coaching career of new OC Pat Shurmur, every year where he has had control of the offense, he's had a singular back reach top 7 in touches. Kind of impressive and telling.
So I figured, I got the time, when was that, who was that, and just how productive were those top seven rankings?

In my mind, control of an offense is either OC or HC
So

RAMS OC '09 - Steven Jackson : 324 rushes, 1400+ yds, 4tds, 50 catches, 300+ yds

Rams OC '10 - SJAX 330 attempts, 1300+ yds, 6 TDs, 40 catches 380yds.

Head coach Cleveland '11 - Well Peyton Hillis certainly wasnt top 7..oops

HC Clevand '12 - TRich - 267 carries, 950 yds, 11 TDs, 3.4 ypc, 70 targets, 51 catches, 367 yds, 1 TD. yes, that's more like it.

Eagles OC '13 - Shady - 314 carries, 1600+, 9 TDs, 50+ catches, 500+, and another 3 TD's
Eagles OC '14 - Shady - 312, 1300+, 5 TDs, 20 catches 150 50yds

Eagles OC '15 - DeMarco Murray..he was not top 7, but he did basically double Ryan Mathews touches
Vikings OC '17 - this was the year Cook played 4 games. Lat. Murray was not top 7, not even close, he had 231 touches to McKinnons 201

HC Giants in 18 & 19- I think we all remember what Saquon did.

So my radio dudes are somewhat dropping the ball here. Shurmer has not ALWAYS had a back in the top 7 in touches...but, outside of year onee in Cleveland, the year Chip Kelly sent Shady packing in Philly, and the year in Minnesota where Cook got hurt, which is the ONLY blemish in a true lead back usage, he does give the RB the ball plenty, and he certainly does favor one back much more than the other, basically at least twice as much.

Could be disaster for Lindsay

Could also be a disaster for the offense/Broncos.

09 Rams = 1-15
10 Rams = 7-9
11 Browns = 4-12
12 Browns = 5-11
13 Eagles = 10-6
14 Eagles = 10-6
15 Eagles = 7-9
17 Vikings = 13-3
18 Giants = 5-11
19 Giants = 4-12
