yeah i know this is just my thought process.

-high draft pick, drafted into a bad situation, poor coaching and development
-organization brought in a whole new offense they didnt develop to suit qb
-Gruden wasnt expecting to win games, but now is 3-2, he lost AB. His #1 is banged up and was primarily a deep threat before this season
-Oak's #2 is now a once after thought TE
-Gruden realized they can maybe make some noise, and has no wr's, so he trades for the upside jones had.

I mean is crazy for gruden to give jones a real shot.

I absolutely love Zay Jones. I think he’ll thrive in Oakland. I’m not sure if he’s got a spot on my team right now (I could drop Mattison but no rush to do so with Jones on Bye this week) but I may roster him as a priority free agent pickup next Wednesday depending on how things shake out.

Anybody have insight on Jets TE Chris Herndon and if he'll have playable value this week? He comes off suspension and can play this week.

So far, sounds like its no sure thing he's e en active this week. But, regardless, theres not a single Jet I'd confidently say would be valuable ANY week, including playing the Phins. Maybe once Darnold gets over his vaginosis and has a game or two to get get back in "game shape. Maybe not

For anyone interested in Herndon, news today he pulled a hamstring last Friday running routes. Even though he's coming off suspension, there's a chance the injury will likely prevent him from playing this week

To me it means I had to take him off of IR and activate him while he don't do shit this week. However, he should be good to go starting next week IMO. Don't play him this week unless super desperate.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Hunter Henry (knee) is expected to make his return for Week 6 against the Steelers.
Even so, coach Anthony Lynn confirmed Friday that Henry would be limited in his first game action since initially suffering a tibia fracture just over one month ago. If anything, his full participation at practice to close the week and (pending) availability is all the more reason to scoop the 24-year-old off waivers wherever applicable. He should only be started in Week 6 if truly desperate at the position.

I second that sentiment. I really thought this dude had his shit together, but talk about fucking up a wet dream. Superbowl caliber roster, and he loses to a f'n winless Denver, and the shit show guided by a 3rd string rookie backup that is Pitt., in back to back weeks, and that's AFTER he gets his stud RB back in the fold. Dude needs to get his shit together, cause right now he's coaching about as good as that Ginger prick in Dallas..who also has a near super bowl caliber roster and has guided them to 3-3 with a cake schedule.
