Also a big jump over his years before Gase. I'm not saying Cutler is going to turn into a top 5 QB, but the Miami offense will be very different with him at the helm. Cutler has one of the strongest arms in the league and he isn't afraid to use it, Tanny has one of the weakest. The Dolphins offense will be more explosive and turnover prone.

Landry and Ajayis value probably takes a hit while Parker, Drake(assuming he gets a 3rd down role), and Stills probably gets a boost.

True, but then we're back at an Alvin Harper discussion. Can a guy who has repeatedly underachieved be realistically counted on simply because he's the last man standing, not because he was good enough to earn that role?

I know Cutler has his critics.
But he is a good QB. He does go through his progressions.
IMO his problem is he hangs on to the ball too long which causes him to force throws.

My personal dislike of Cutler stems from his supreme athletic gifts, and his utter inability to get out of his own way. Guy could've been a HOF'er, but he's nothing more than this generations Jeff George

George to me was a head case.
Never got that vibe from Cutler despite how others outside Chicago see him.

He did a radio show on the Monday after each Bears game.
How many times can he be asked about 'why did you throw that interception.'
Never heard the guy throw a coach or player under the bus.

George would have. And did.

With a decent Oline, Cutler could be pretty good. He was decent in Denver then went to the Bears where he just got killed from lack of protection.

The Dolphins are starting to piss me off. Tanny clearly needs surgery. They made a bad decision for forego it during the offseason just for him to re-injuring his knee and now they are contemplating just resting him again...come on man.
