I've got Ingram's handcuff, and he's not a poster child for 16 game seasons.... too bad neither is AP
Gillisle isn't exactly a sure thing by any means, still a big possibility Rex carves out a meaningful role... but then again, Rex is no sure thing either.

This seems like a really bad fit zone blocking, pistol formation, and Ingram is a better blocker/receiver. I do think AD will be the goalline back as Ingram has a TD incentive in his contract and the Saints were trying to screw him over last year by pulling him in the redzone. My guess is the both average 10-12 ppg, but are hard to trust from week to week.

Anyone else think that given the way the Saints have messed with Ingram, as Stomp pointed out, and that he is a frequent flyer on Doghouse air.. that maybe this is the Saints getting ready to part ways with Ingram? Maybe they trade him if the sign AP?

I had that very same thought. I know Peyton doesn't seem to get along with Ingram for some reason. I don't know if they will trade or cut Ingram but that thought popped into my head when I heard AP was visiting the saints a few weeks back.
