treffs rb's could be hurting if AP isnt a bell cow

Well I ain't happy about it for sure. But Ingram is a perfectly acceptable #2, my big issue is depth, as the way it stands now, I've got 2 FA's who could be lead backs, and could just as easily be TD dependant short yardage guys, and I suppose could just as easily be out of the league all together. And a Swiss army knife in NE, we all know how undependable that is.

I'll have to hit on a diamond in the rough type in the draft i guess

Guess it's not out of the question but he's still a 26yr old backup. .... chances are they can do better in the draft.

Out of all the RB's on their roster today, he's the first one I expect to be not there. All the others contribute on special teams, and can get the job done on the offensive side in thief respective roles.

Let's not forget though, Gillisle isn't a done deal either. Denver wasn't expected to match CJ Anderson's deal with Miami either

I know. I really hope he goes somewhere else and has a chance to play.

Assuming Buffalo doesn't match, and that they don't blow us all away and draft a Blount (Perine anyone?), than I'd have to agree, he'd definitely be a better fit for that role than Rexy, much as I hate to admit it.

Oh no thanks.. my desire for Rexy to have a meaningful role goes beyond the fantasy aspect.. I'm in no hurry to tie myself to the patriots backfield if there isn't a deeper personal investment in it for me
