I was referring to BB's patriot years. Morris has been a seasoned coach in this league and an interim HC. For that to happen is inexcusable. You are correct I don't think Morris deserved that job far better coaches available.

Yes, that falls on Morris not playing #9 earlier. You cant go into a playoff game playing scared on that last drive for ATL. Morris knew his kicker cant kick over 50 yards, you have to press it. If you had doubt about #9 then he shouldnt be out there.

Conservatism at certain times is a form of cowardice and I belive that in the moment Morris he did what many HCs in the league would have done. In fact, let me ask you, how many current HCs in the NFL are actually good at time management? Thus far you've only named one and he's no longer there.
Second guessing is fair but firing for this doesn't make sense.
Btw; I agree with @dad, Kirk earned the opportunity to work his way out of his struggles, and we don't know how his money influenced the decision to stick with him... $90M dollars plus what remains of that guaranteed contract for 17 games doesn't generally happen in this business.

BB was a seasoned HC and he botched time management multiple times his last 4 years of coaching , yet you give him a pass

i agree with you the money thing with KC could have been an issue. Morris is not a rookie HC. Sure other NFL coached have time mgt issues but this was so time mgt 101 and he failed.

Plus Morris has been doing this all year says an ATL fan on here. This was not a single incident.

i will add to it that even if you went with penix earlier that doesnt guarantee penix wouldnt struggle with situational football

you dont remember isnt a defense ? . his last 4 yrs without brady his offenses stunk and routinely mis managed the clock its all on film . BB wasnt hired as an NFL coach for 2 reasons , he wanted control of personnel (by his OWN words ) and his age .

morris has his team in year one of his reign on the cusp of winning a division title in a transitional year

My opinion wasn’t debunked dean , BB came out on ESPN and talked about it . Whether ATL fans are happy with him is irrelevant. Why did the entire ATL front office go to Arthur Smith and begged him not to hire BB dean ? , his words, his deeds, and the FO actions tell a completely different story that your alleged full proof story .

Hell he demanded and got full control concessions and other things from UNC

I'd have to check to be sure but I thin BBs time in Cleveland and without Brady was average to below average.
