the falcons are a tough team for us to beat for sure . i think we can get our run game going and if we can we have a punchers chance but i have the falcons beating us 35 to 20
Well deserved
Woah...first I've seen of this...very interesting
You hear comments like this all of the time since coaches & players move around a lot in the NFL. Honestly - I don't put much stock into this thought process. NFL teams only play once a week & 16 times so each game means a lot & I truly don't believe that most coaches & players don't give 100% except perhaps when the season is lost (especially someone like Kyle Shanahan who seems like an intense hard worker who no doubt wants to impress to eventually get a head coaching job).
Sure Shanahan is going to want to destroy the Skins defense but no less than when he plays any other team & especially since they are in a tight race with the Panthers. I would have a tendency to believe this to occur in a sport like basketball or baseball since they play so often & I am sure lots of guys don't give it 100% every game.
This is the game that I've been waiting for and it's finally coming on Sunday. Of course, I'll be attending. I printed out my tickets, earlier, as this is when they first became available. This should be a very intriguing matchup. The primary reason is Kyle Shanahan will be planning against a team, he once was the OC for. I actually like Bashaud Breeland against Julio Jones. Him shutting down Dez Bryant, last year, showed he's fully capable. I would still have Dashon Goldson going over the top with help. We should be able to run on them because the Falcons are soft up the middle, which should set up for play-action. If we can get DeSean back, that will be a huge plus. No Falcons CB can cover him, imo. Our o-line should be able to sustain their pass-rush, as well. The Falcons may not be an elite team, but they capitalize on turnovers. Mistakes cannot be made. Period. Not to mention, let them hang around.
Julio...no CB can defend him one on one they way Shanny is using him...you have to bracket him.
ATL D...they might be soft, but imo run stopping is the most improved part of the team...they haven't faced a running game as good as WAS yet...this will make for an interesting match up because both QBs need the running game.
