Agree with you about JJ. Amazing player. He will get his, especially with our injury depleted secondary.
I've heard that Atlanta has had a tough time stopping TEs. Granted, we are unlikely to have Jordan this weekend but do you see this as an exploitable area for the Skins? Carrier has shown some promise.
I'm also thinking our rookie Crowder could match up quite well against them.
Iffy if DJax plays IMO. Initially he was ruled out 4-6 weeks with a hammy. This would still be the low end of that expectation. Have to see what the next few days show. Smartly, they've been very careful about the situation so far.On the ATL side of that report.
Roddy White, Julio Jones, Hankerson, and Reed are pretty much locks to play...If Tamme passes the concussion protocol after practice today and tomorrow, he will likely play...Tevin Coleman is a maybe, and I doubt Ricardo Allen plays this week...MCL strain.
Looks like I'm wrong about 4-6 weeks for DJax. Tho hammys are notoriously difficult to guesstimate. This report says 3-4 weeks...
The fact that he is pain free for the first time is huge tho
One RB not talked about as much (yet) for us is Chris Thompson. With Al Mo and Matt Jones getting all the headlines, he's had a very good start to this year. Had a significant game last week against the Eagles.Hamstrings can be really problematic...largely why Julio is limited in practice every week...they just don't want to put any more on him than absolutely needed...the ATL CBs are quietly pretty good imo...Trufant a lot of people are starting to take notice...Alford gets a lot more targets but he will make plays...when they go nickel though...CB3 is shaky....the other notable I missed...if Durant can't go...Bartu is the next LB up and there is a drop off imo...another reason to really pay attention to the run game.
