New album coming on thec 2nd of May! Sol Invictus.

No Jim Martin on guitar, but the rest are there.

The 2 singles released so far are decent (Superhero) and good (Mother*ucker, but I doubt it gets much airplay due to the repeating of the title so much in the song).

Great to have them back after 18 years! Hope they tour in my area soon!

No tour dates near me in Norway either. But I could drive 6-7 hours and see them at a festival in Sweden. Muse is playing at the same time and they also have a great live show.

Have to see if I can make it!

The two SF shows are sold out....hafta buy em second-hand.

I'm bugged that their American "leg", if you can even call it that, spans a month, and takes place BEFORE the album even comes out.

Mostly bugged, cuz I assumed the tour would be after the release of the album, and thus didn't secure tickets and now if I wanted to go, Ima hafta pay thru the nose.

I love FNM and really all things Patton, save for their propensity to kinda shit on the states.

Great album! I really like Separation Anxiety and Cone Shame. 2 classic hard rocking FNM tracks that would have been hits back in the 90s.

Anyone else listening to it?

It is great, front to back. Captured the essence of old, without being contrived.

Fantastic album.

Wow i remember when Faith No More hit with the album The Real Thing,WOW just looked it doesn't seem like 25 years ago. I always liked that album and Angel Dust afterwards. What happen to Jim Martin?

I think it was a culmination of him and Mike not seeing eye to eye on the music and the timing...it coinciding with the passing of his father.....his mind was elsewhere, so to speak?

I remember seeing an interview or reading somewhere that he thought Angel Dust sounded like "gay disco" and that he hardly even played on that disc.
