A bit more nuanced than that. It's 3 years for 21 mil guaranteed. We're paying him 15 mil this year. There's an out for us after this season and Foles himself can void the contract after each season as well.
If we keep him for 3 years, he's going to make more than 8 mil per. That's for daaaammmnn sure. However, yes... so far as risk. This is not bad in the least if he flops.

Yeah, I made my post before finding out the exact restructure deal. Even better than I thought. 3 years for 24 mil spread out evenly to 8 mil per? 20 mil guaranteed? That's backup money.
Now, he does the option to void and restructure after each year. However, if he lights it up and we win a lot? I'm sure we'll be fine with that. It means we found a QB.
