Kerr is smoking too much bud if he thinks that boon is a HOF'er

What's a 'boon'?

And the idea is he will make it after a few more years of production like this. As has been mentioned, if a guy like Rodman is in, Draymond can easily do so as well.

I'd go with the "assuming they remain at this level" angle.

If their careers ended today, I would probably say Green just misses it.

But, yeah, another 3-4 years at this level and I think all four get in.

If Rodman is in, Draymond is definitely going in. Fuck Yao is in. Whats he ever done?? Made basketball more popular in China?? :L

Draymond is an all star on a dynasty team. Thats enough to warrant the HOF as is

Draymond really wasnt all that impressive of a defender this year relative to the hype.

He did not crack the top 10 in defensive rating, defensive +/, or defensive win shares.
He even fell out of the top 15 players in two of those categories.

Take off the expectation goggles, and it was a down year defensively for him based on his reputation.
Across the board his defensive numbers are way down back almost to his rookie year.

He might bounce back and be a truly elite defender again, but it also might be the sign of some slippage and aging.
Unless he returns to multiple seasons of elite defense, he wont get into the HOF.

His offensive numbers are not nearly good enough. He needs to be a dominant defender every year.
Maybe it was a fluke year....and he returns to form, but it is worth watching for HOF consideration discussions.

Without a doubt.

If Yao was American, black or white, he would never have even been on the ballot.

He is there because he is Chinese and nothing else.

He is there because he introduced the NBA to a country with like 2 Billion people who now absolutely love the NBA. No individual has done more to advance the popularity of the league.

HOF is about more than just statistical production. Which is why Green and Klay will be in the HOF someday.

The Warriors are at the stage in their dynasty where the regular season doesn't mean jack. Compare Iguodala this year to playoffs Iguodala. Same thing with the rest of them. LeBron does this too.

Dray is almost in already (don't forget college). He doesn't need to win another DPOY. If he keeps being a triple double machine and anchoring the defense of one of the greatest dynasties in NBA history he's in. Plenty of HOFers are in with less.

This isn't the NFL. I don't think people realize how easy it is to get into the HOF as an NBA player (relative to baseball and football).
