Heck I referenced that year but before the '10-'11 season was just as bad with the D-men. We all see how well that worked out for the Pens then you have Hamhuis, Gonchar and others. Some worked and others were grossly overpaid.

I remember posting (it might have even been earlier in this thread) that I could stomach Jagr at $3 million on a one year deal. $4.5 million is way too much.

The Stars highest paid top 6 forward age is now 33.33 and that includes Ericksson.

Yeah it will come back to a little better levels when Benn signs.
