This stadium sucks. That should have been a ground rule double.
Seriously, their stadium should be condemned. What an absolute toilet. What kind of poor trailer park trash heap just sticks a bunch of rickety old folding chairs on the field and calls it a bullpen? They can't even keep the clubhouses from flooding with sewage.

Just burn it to the ground and relocate the team.

So if we don't need him to clinch in 162 do we start a spot starter?

I would guess he'll just sit and start Game 1 and we'll just get a spot starter. Would make the most/only sense at least.

Figured they'd want him going against Houston.
They said that for whatever reason he hasn't pitched well against Houston. And that would give him 3 more starts and make him available for the last game of the season.

Can't believe MLB let's them get away with playing sanctioned fucking games in that shit hole.
It's really mind-blowing, isn't it? From the stupid dimensions to the chewed up field from football to the sewage in the clubhouses to the on-field bullpens to the felons in the stands, I can't believe MLB hasn't forced relocation.

Well a three game sweep over Oakland would be damn nice too. Assuming we win tonight, we'd be up 3.5 games over Houston heading into the series with a win tomorrow which guarantees they couldn't take the lead, even with a sweep. Honestly, if that's the case. I'd be happy if we only won one in Houston, but I got a hunch we'll win two.

Not to mention the outfield is a mess because they play football on it too.

Think the issue is the ownership doesn't wanna get out of the bay area and can't move to San Jose b/c the Giants own that territory so there would be some issues there.

I've been to a game at Oakland. The stadium is abysmal. But the worst part of the whole park is the smell as you walk the infield concourse where the concessions are. It is not a smell of food. It is straight up BO. Really bad BO. Playing on a football/baseball field is bad enough, but the stench, its just terrible.

Colby is fortunate this inning. Throwing some fat pitches. This is it for him.

He's up there just guessing. Most major leaguers can lay off an 88 MPH fastball that high out of the strike zone.

Just gotta pray he comes out of it in the next two weeks. I don't think it's an issue similar to last year because he's still flashed power and hit the ball hard at times.

If you could pick only one Oakland player for the Rangers to drill with a fastball, would it be the nerd Sogard, the woman Burns, the trailer trash Reddick, or the steroids casualty Crisp?

Do former OAK players count? My choice would be Donaldson or Balfour. I hate both of them more than any of the current OAK players
