IDK, tried to read one review I found... really sounded like they didn't even WANT to give it a chance... Not saying it will be great or not... BUT hard to read reviews when they start with WHITE MAN IN AN ORIENT WORLD... HOW DID THEY NOT GET An ASIAN MAN TO PLAY THIS ROLE???

If they wanted a series with an oriental dude, then they could have chosen "Shang Chi: Master of Kung Fu." Iron Fist is about a white guy getting oriented to the culture of the elusive K'un Lun.

I'm looking forward to the Valiant Universe to hit the big screen. I read a few of their books in the 90s.

I loved the original Valiant universe while Jim Shooter was in command, but it all went to hell in a handbag when they re-booted in the middle of the run. I haven't really followed the later re-boots. Also loved the Malibu Ultraverse titles until Marvel got ahold of them & screwed them up.

Logan as a movie has a lot of nice touches, good acting and compelling dialogue. I think it works well as an action movie but parts of it bother me a bit.

1. The Mexican theme was tacked on. Wouldn't be an issue if they didn't have a lot of exposition dumping via cell phone video. Also annoying to have Spanish language in major parts of the dialogue. I don't remember Russian theme getting in the way of Deadpool.

2. The villains apparently had no issues dying to Wolverine. Almost made the movie into a comedy watching waves of enemies confront wolverine.

Such a depressing movie made the tiny moments of humanity seem special. Not sure it's a movie people will watch more than once.

DC needs to get a solid anchor to their universe before they start adding fringe character movies. Marvel took a risk with IM, but they had Hulk coming up behind d as an anchor. They scored wit IM, struck out with Hulkk, but the foundation was set.

The Hulk movie was underrated IMO.

But financialy, it was a dud. Regardless, I'M was the foundation they could build from. Now CA is the foundation, and moving forward, either Spidey or Capt. Marvel can be the foundation.

Man of Steel was better than all those.

But they did set themselves back with BvS.

I will never understand why that shitty Frank Miller story got so much traction. So many holes.
