Its crazy how bad Affleck was as Daredevil and how good he is as Batman. Its almost as if Affleck needed to be beaten down in life a little bit before he could play a dark hero.

I picture Ms Marvel as woman in her late 30's with a little larger/athletic build. Charlize Theron would've been perfect.

That DD movie wasn't dark. It was just a big pile of shit.

I haven't seen B vs S, yet. But how good would Afflech had been as Batman, if he used his own voice?

Its been a loooong time since I've seen it but Daredevil in general is supposed to be really dark. Certainly the show is.

It might just be a case where the entire movie was a mistake from top to bottom. As bad as Daredevil was, Bullseye and Elektra might have both been worse.

She would've been perfect, I agree. That said, Theron is 40 now and a commitment to a super hero might be a decade long affair.

People seem to forget that if a movie sucks it's not always on the actor, Jennifer Garner is really good but if she was given bad direction or script that can make a performance way worse. Not saying all actors are blameless but it's something I've rarely seen talked about.

I completely agree with you. It can also be bad casting. Even though I think the DD movie was complete crap, I don't think Affleck was a good fit for the role.

B vs S is a straight up ok movie. Fight scenes were CGIfest over the top crap. Affleck is damn good but is the best thing about the film. Also Jessie Eisenberg cemented himself as one of if not the worst actor in Hollywood with this film.

Except Ive seen him in at least 2 movies where I thought he did a good job. Its a combination of bad casting, bad writing and bad directing I'm guessing but definitely bad acting is the end result. I'm not sure any actor in Hollywood could have pulled that character off with the dumb things he is asked to do.


Killing Joke is now previewing across the country. Apparently the Killing Joke movie is getting a lot of nerd rage because they had to fill in time and added some things that many people are iffy about. Having never read the graphic novel (somehow) I'm glad I get to see it in theaters tonight.

I totally disagree on this part. Jesse Eisenberg's performance was great, easily the best portrayal of Lex Luthor on film.
