NWPF I called 4 games that gets lowered to 2 all along and that still may come to pass. He probably deserves 6 at least, but this is how they handled it.

Will people accept them as champs after this? Probably not. This taints the entire team. It paints the already hurt image in a worst light. The haters are going to keep on hating no matter what. That's how it is. If your team stops cheating for a few years maybe it will die down, but it just feels like something else will come up by then if BB is still there.

Even IF this never happened would people "consider" them champs anyway? Even if they stop cheating as you mention the hatred for the Patriots will always be there and will never go away.

I think that this was meant to be a well rounded penalty hence the loss of picks and cash to the owner...it hits everyone. They definitely took into account past occurrences no different that they would with an ex-con...makes sense since the same group of people were involved.

PED's, stickem, etc...are bad but they technically only affect one player whereas the footballs can affect every player on the field so I can see it being harsher. Plus the balls were doctored after the refs cleared them which is pretty sneaky even though the league should have had better control over the situation. Hopefully they fix that and don't allow this crap to happen anymore no matter the team...

yet the officials can't remember which gauge they used.... That's very suspicious to me. Using your logic, that is still cheating and cheating is wrong... People are constantly saying, "Patriots cheated, period.... and should be punished, yet claim peds, stick em etc is not cheating, it's only cheating when the Patriots do it (Not saying you flyer are saying this)

Definitely not saying that as cheating is cheating but because this affects everyone on the field it goes up a level. Face it everyone can touch the football...

You guys need to drop the hate card and look at the reality card just excuses. Why didn't brady allow his lawyer to forward his texts? You know the answer..

I really really really hope that this appeal goes to a judge who puts these clowns under oath with the threat of perjury. Subpeona the phones and emails too. Forensic analysis could determine when messages were deleted as well, which would be incriminating.

Going to court would be the WORST thing that Brady/Patriots could have happen to them.
