ESPN Shutting Down Team Forums

I was on the ESPN boards since 98. I was mostly posting on the Sonics board (RIP and fuck Lying Fatboy) and didn't ramp up my Seahawks posts until about 2001, but it was always a good read in the early days.

One thing is that I learned a lot and felt that I was able to contribute to some good, solid talk in the earlier years. In the last couple of years I felt that almost all of what I did was bash trolls. It was like playing the Whack-A-Mole game with those idiots.

I need to get back into the groove and work on initiating some good conversation and analysis. Looking forward to doing that this season. The timing couldn't be better as I can warm up and try to hit my stride in the preseason.
