He won't compare to Redick, Scheyer, Paulus, Singler etc in my lifetime. And a far cry from Laettner and Hurley.

Honestly the hate level for Duke I feel has toned down in the last 5-6 years IMO. That's what happens when they have so many one and done players.

ESPN has a monopoly on sports media now. It's only competition is local sports news and writers. Fox Sports has been reduced to serf status and Sporting News has gone the way of the dodo.

I liked it 15 years ago when you had three different websites with three different styles.

Reddick says "I was a Prick." right in the article. He knew he behaved like an insufferable ass and owned it.
Ferry thought he was too good to play for the Clippers, and was apparently a gigantic racist asshole himself.

Hurley was never hated at all.
Dunleavy was never hated.
Paulus....meh...no big hatred.
None of the bazillion different Plumlees were hated.
Cherokee Parks was never hated or even remembered.

Wojo was never as talented as his media coverage. Dick Vitale spent every single second worshipping at his altar. And he was the teachers pet. That type of guy is usually hated in every workplace.

Plenty of White Duke guys were not hated.

It was usually the jag-offs who deserved it.

It's a joke. If you thought that was bad then you'll think the BIG 10 officials should be twice as embarrassed for not calling a flagrant 2 and ejecting diamond stone for tackling the UW player and then bashing his head in the ground. They actually called a flagrant 1 on the Badgers. WTF?? Stone should be in jail for assault and at the very least suspended for a couple games but the refs called it a flagrant 1 on both sides. Refs should be fired and ashamed.
