I think we are going to wind up with the 4th pick guys.

My attitude on post # 84:

Rev is screaming and stomping about the # 1 pick and all; which I understand.

However, I think letting all this inexperienced players get some "winning experience" is priceless.

Let's win with what we get.

Thanks Murph....way to go out on the limb with me.

Next Shiner is on me boss. :suds:

But seriously, give me some numbers. I don't have much of a guess myself. Looking for someone to kind of "getting me started."

Well I am having the shiner octoberfest since you're buying

but seriously I couldn't think of who to compare a guy like Rosales to.....so I came up with Darwin Barney as a somewhat similar bench player with a little better career bat than Adam. In his first arb year Barney got 2.3 million. I don't think that would be tendered to Adam but I see somewhere between 1.5 and 2 probably. Again this is the best I can come up with, since there really is not many other guys that offer exactly what Adam does and this late season hitting is probably an anomaly based on career #'s

A fine choice sir....my pleasure.

And that's a good approach it seems to me on Rosales.

Actually, I wouldn't mind offering him a 2 year deal with a small team buy out at about the numbers you're quoting here.

Good job with 2 strikes AB, shortening it up and using the middle of the field

My first time to try it.......it is nice. I am a fan of the blonde and the ruby redbird as well and the original shiner is classic.

You have an excellent pallet for the yeast beverage there.

And the closing of the season we'll always refer to as "the season that was" is playing out quite better than expected. And I don't mean from a W's vs L's standpoint.

Cant refer to it as the "lost season" getting to see all the talent we have at the lower levels up here and looking good

How about a new manager. Will ya work with me on that one?

Martin has so "upped" his game when the "manager" put his faith in him as a LO hitter.

EA has shown renewed life in the # 2 hole......Hey, I know he's sucked for most of the season.

Many of the younger guys: Rua, Robertson, Smolinski have prospered.

But as was said earlier - not by me - the pressure is off and everyone is just playing the game.
