I once saw a video of Embiid limping on the road. He was looking for food the day after the game. He does have a lot of problems with his knees.

I don't blame you. Not sure what Philly is doing. You said in the other thread it is good they rest bc the first 50 games are meaningless. Yes maybe for a team at the top of their conference, not for teams at the bottom of their conference. They will now fight to get a playoff spot. It is good you are being more realistic with the lottery but I see middle ground for them which is what Indiana did for years. The worst spot possible.

They should have traded Embiid last summer like I suggested but they were hoping he would eventually lead them to a ship adding PG13. People thought I was crazy, yes a bit unrealistic, but you could see his body deteriorating. Getting full value for him is the smart move and it's not like fans really admire the guy anyway. They would get over it in time....that time is passed and his value is long gone. He will retire a Sixer, sooner rather than later.
The less regular season games he plays, the more post season success he'll have. He's too big and athletic to handle the full schedule. That was obvious 3 years ago. So instead of giving into the league's load management garbage the Sixers should have gone the other way and followed the plan I've laid out for the last two years.

Too athletic to handle the schedule? Logic fail. He's been broken since college, averaging 54 games a season.

Funny, Jokic is pretty close to the same size, has no issues. He missed a few games lately....for the birth of his child. Drummond missed games in two seasons in the middle of his career but routinely played at 65+ games the rest of his career thus far. Again, similar size.

I believe it’s the witching hour for the sixers. Similar to the Celtics Nets trade deal. And I would move while there is little info on his knees.
No, hold him out until later in the year like all the smart people know to do.

Idiots (and haters ...hater idiots) want his knees to evaporate before the playoffs. Bunch of dumbasses.

Yeah, keep holding him out to save him for the playoffs.

Pretty sure the 6ers get an automatic bid to the playoffs regardless of regular season record. They don’t actually have to win any games to get there.

It's a long season. They'll make it.

Facts for you:
1) Only needed 36 wins last year for the last seed.
2) 41% winning percentage teams are in right now. Worse than last year.
3) The 7 seed only has 9 wins.

So, the plan is to jump into the playoffs against the Cavaliers or Celtics in the first round after having to win a play-in spot.
Sounds like a great recipe for a first round exit in a sweep.
You would be better off staying where you are for a loaded draft and looking for your Embiid replacement.

Your team has then regressed to the limbo phase stuck in perpetual mediocrity. We can officially take the Sixers off the list of contenders for the next decade.
