Elvis, Crush, Mookie and Moss....

I've just been offered Andrus and Davis for Betts and Moss.


I don't want to do this, but any Crush lovers out there think he'll rebound in the second half?

...and is Andrus a definite upgrade over Betts? Even with Elvis' so-so year, Mookie at the bottom of the order makes Elvis the better play, right? (or Mookie moving up the lineup?)

I think you have to take this deal.
I'm expecting a big second half from Davis and as much as I love Betts, Andrus is the safer play for this year.

My thinking is Davis seems to be the 2012 version (if that), and that doesn't seem like anything Moss can't do. And there's a chance Davis keeps crashing not crushing, right.


Still, your faith in Davis gets me closer to accepting.

I like Davis as well. Even if David doesn't do much more than Moss, I think Elvis will produce better than Betts this year.
Tlance is a Davis fan as well, I'm sure he'll chime in once he senses the name being discussed.

This is a no brainer, IMO.

Betts could be really good, or he could be back in AAA in 3 weeks. Basically, his upside is Andrus.

As for Davis/Moss, you can certainly make the case for Moss, but even the most optimistic of viewpoints on Moss has this one as a coin flip.

This is the ideal sell high, buy low moment, and a trade that you cannot turn down IMO.

I would make sure nobody is injured and then accept right away before he has a chance to rethink.
