Well, when your game is pretty much squinting and chucking it deep……losing the chucking it deep part doesn't help.

I think they should have drafted Barkley and signed a free agent qb. This was about as good of a free agent crop you will see in today's nfl. They could have also drafted a project qb after the first round if they wanted. They've just been lying to themselves about eli for quite a while.Well, I think most people thought they should have drafted one of the young QBs this year.
Now this may be a wasted year and they will have to draft one next year
so does eli this year. career high nearly 69%.But Chad Pennington at least had a good completion percentage.
i told dirt when they got him that theyre paying a guy who is playing only for a check, which he is now.Watching though, it felt good to see Solder shit the bed as a highly paid Giant.

penningtons arm fell off due to surgeries. elis is just time, on an already sub elite arm.
Eli is completing 69% of his passes this year? If that isn't proof these new QB-friendly rules suck, I don't know what does.
Prepare for a boatload of these threads in the coming days.....LOL.
They keep thinking they can milk Eli a little longer, if they just fix the line. But they can't fix the line, and even if they did, he may be shot. The Giants have spent a ton of draft capital and money on the offensive line in the past five years, and have almost nothing to show for it. Nate Solder looks washed and they paid him huge coin.
I know the Giants offensive line is bad but I can't see a real excuse for a QB to be this bad when you have Barkley as your RB and Beckham as your #1 receiver.
2/10 throwing the ball down the field 10 or more yards, 20% of his passing yards came on a screen pass. Were you watching? Or were you at the game? Because on TV, he looked awful.
I get that he had no time on most plays, but when he did have time, he couldn't get the ball downfield.
