He averages just 1.68 seconds before being either sacked or hit.

An all time NFL low, by a whopping .39 seconds!!!

"Throw the ball," the exasperated Giants coach, Pat Shurmur, was caught by a Fox camera barking after Manning threw painfully short on a second-and-20. "I'm sure the cameras could've caught me upset a bunch of times," Shurmur conceded later.

At halftime, Manning had converted none of his eight dropbacks in third-down situations.

Who could blame him? CPT Interception is gun shy. He's likely playing his last season and doesn't want to retire as the games interception leader. Or pass his HGH brother, he's only 19 behind. That's an easy target for fELIne to reach.

I'm starting to think Geems could be related to Dirt:noidea:

Possible alt? Dirt disappeared following the Yank-Me's getting curb stomped. Can't blame him, between that and the Gnats of NJ falling on their face I'd give up sports and sport chat boards as well.

Geems is on point.

And Foles isn't anywhere near being worth 2 firsts.

Maybe 2nd and a 3rd. That's being generous.

Manning was done, and he was done last year.

By the time the Giants get a half-decent QB and get their O-line fixed, OBJ and possibly Barkley could well have their best years behind them. Much like the Cowboys might be wasting Elliott at the moment.

What blows my mind about the whole situation is how the Giants management found a way to delude themselves into believing that Eli could compete at a high level into his late 30's. Only the best of the best QB's manage to pull that off with any sort of grace before they finally fall - Favre, Peyton, Brady, Brees, Rodgers probably will, Peyton, etc. Eli was once a very respectable QB and had two great Superbowl runs in his career, but he was only half the player of someone like his brother Peyton. So the expectation that he'd do what someone like Peyton did was pretty absurd.
