Rock Strongo
My mind spits with an enormous kickback.
how did this happen? When Peyton goes into Canton will his bust be just of his massive forehead? @Rock Strongo. What are your thoughts?

if eli gets in, every single QB with 2 rings is in. but plunkett.
eli is getting in on rings, not his numbers. I think eli would even admit that. 50k yards, 300 TD's, yadda yadda. its a stat compiling league for QB's now. its why we had one 5k season up until 2011. more and more rule changes make QB's look better than they areally are.
i mean, matt schaub once passed for nearly 5k yards. so did daunte cullpepper.
Did the giants score more or less against the Patriots than the average team that season? Did the giants allow more or less against the Patriots than the average team that season? That is some stat for the clueless that say he rode his defense
Hooray, you threw for a lot of yards in a 4 game stretch.
I should be impressed because...
That's it. I'm officially a Joe Flacco fan. LOL.
Twice

I'll help. The giants scored 21 against them. The average team scored 21.3 against them that season. The giants allowed 17 points against them. The average team allowed 32 against them.
That means the giants offense was -0.3 points compared to the average offense but the defense was 15 better than the average defense against the Patriots that season.
But it was all the offense that won that super bowl.
If someone moves the ball and scores the ball better than every one else except 6-8 guys, all you can do is invent extra shit to try to distract from those facts.Everybody is putting up big yards and td numbers these days. He just has played the most games in this passer friendly era. You can't compare him to qbs even who started in the mid 90s because of rules changes. He simply has compiled a lot of numbers in a time where everybody else has at the same time while doing it far less efficiently and effectively than his upper echelon peers.
Passer rating looks at four things. Passing yards per attempt, TD's per attempt, INT's pet attempt, and completion percentage. I think we can all agree those are important things, right? Well he's behind Jay cutler and cam Newton but is one spot above josh mccown.
8 games. So impressive.
A career of mediocrity isn't patched by 8 games.
plunkett did.Every QB that has 2 rings should get in if they played a big part in getting those rings
i also used plunketts career, like 1800 times here.I am using all of Eli's years
I'm not just pulling data from his best.
one fucking time. Who gives a Shit.i mean, matt schaub once passed for nearly 5k yards. so did daunte cullpepper.
catch up to my postsone fucking time. Who gives a Shit.
Eli has more yards and more touchdowns than everyone except 7 guys. You try to act like he is 97th right behind all the other guys who have played since 1999. Nope, he's above nearly everyone.
Yes let's pretend the game has never changed and qbs aren't putting up way better numbers these days.If someone moves the ball and scores the ball better than every one else except 6-8 guys, all you can do is invent extra shit to try to distract from those facts.
Again, describe the game of football without using yards/distance and points/scoring...

Plunkett was a big part of those SB titles, he did things awkwardly, but got the job done....It was kind of amazing how well he played in big spots those years, when I clearly thought he was done.....plunkett did.
1980 he had a 96 rating in the playoffs. 7 TD/3 INT. superbowl win. 145 rating in that superbowl.
1983 he had an 85.3 rating in the playoffs. not as much of a factor as the raiders were run heavy. 2 TD/2 INT. 97.4 rating in that superbowl win.
in his 2 SB games plunkett went 29/54 (just shy of 54%, better than his career) with 4 TD's and no picks. 433 total yards.
so, he kinda did play a big part.
And managed to end up with half of Eli's yardage. He's closer to Tebow numbers.i also used plunketts career, like 1800 times here.
you must be confused. you also still dont get the pre 1978 thingy.
