Truth be told I think there was time for smart to pass back to a wide open White for a better look.Thats on Strus. Had his back turn and never located White and got back in position after the ba was inbound3d

That’s not a foul. That’s a play on. Smart makes them blow the whistle because he pushes Duncan.Duncan’s left arm committed a foul first
Brown could’ve been called for a dead ball foul though
That Horford foul was so bad it had to be called, you have to know thatYet they gave the Heat 3 FTs with 3 seconds left for the lead.
NBA is so bad at fixing games. Need to fire whoever they put in charge of those.
I saw the play and was clearly a goal tend. Wasn't paying attention to what happened after. Was the tech because of the play itself or did someone say/do something else to earn the T?That 4pt play was just bogus. It's either a technical or a goaltend. Giving them both is absurd.
But damn did Duncan need to hit one of those wide open 3s there at the end
Just got to remember how bad the Cs looked after 3 and came back.I see no way they win game 7 with what i saw from jimmy and bam tonight
It absolutely was not a goal tend. The goal tend was only called because his hand was on the rim. Seems like a double penalty.I saw the play and was clearly a goal tend. Well said. duncan hits some tough shots then gets 2-3 easy looks and misses them all (and I think he thought he hit 1-2 of them when they left his hand).Celtics can't do the clutch. That was a lucky put-back off a perfect bounce off the rim.
They out there giving up multiple open shots to f'n Duncan Robinson with the game on the line...
Better to be lucky than good... that's all there is to this G6 win.
On to GAME 7.
They need a classic playoffs Jimmy game. Going to need a bam performance that they got in the first 2 games of the series. It is a must that they land the first punchJust got to remember how bad the Cs looked after 3 and came back.
Never know and pressure might be more on Cs now. Just gotta hope Jimmy becomes playoff Jimmy again.
Yep...as I think spo said (not sure him but someone did after game) that ball bounced the only place it could have for the Cs to get the win.Cant even blame Max anymore. Spo said thats how he wanted it to he guarded to avoid tatum getting the ball. Just an incredibly unlucky bounce
Nothing it wasn’t a double dribbleSome were saying Butler was guilty of a double dribble on this play. This tweet describes my position. Butler mishandles and loses the ball. He recovers possession but then doesn’t dribble after he recovers possession. Not a double dribble. What am I missing?
I think it was the right call but many worse fouls have been let go at that time of the game. IF the game were fixed they easily just let that one go.That Horford foul was so bad it had to be called, you have to know that
Yep....just got to remember all games are different and what happened in the last one doesn't matter all that much. But as you just said, fall behind big early that's a major problem. They need a classic playoffs Jimmy game. Going to need a bam performance that they got in the first 2 games of the series. It is a must that they land the first punch
Can't fall down 18-5 as they did in game 5
Disagree that was a no brainer call, he side swiped him while shooting didn’t even get the shot off because of it.I think it was the right call but many worse fouls have been let go at that time of the game. IF the game were fixed they easily just let that one go.
Not sure but I think losing possession, then having both hands on it and dropping it constitutes a dribble if he keeps taking steps like he did. Otherwise you could just keep "dropping" as many times as you wanted. Some were saying Butler was guilty of a double dribble on this play. This tweet describes my position. Butler mishandles and loses the ball. He recovers possession but then doesn’t dribble after he recovers possession. Not a double dribble. What am I missing?
some no brainer calls are let go late in games. But even if you think that they fixed a game for Boston yet Miami was able to get the ball with a chance to tie or win on last possession?Disagree that was a no brainer call, he side swiped him while shooting didn’t even get the shot off because of it.
Totally agree. I'd go a step further and say Cs rout or Miami win in a close one.Im in the same boat
No it doesn’tNot sure but I think losing possession, then having both hands on it and dropping it constitutes a dribble
That’s at the officials discretion if it’s done purposefully. I can’t see any official in the world claiming a guy would purposefully mishandle when he’s being played so tightly as it will result in a turnover 3 out of 4 times. There’s nothing here that’s a double dribble.if he keeps taking steps like he did. Otherwise you could just keep "dropping" as many times as you wanted.
Is anyone claiming conspiracy? I know I’m not. I’m just pointing out that the officials had a horrible night last night and it happened to be to the benefit of the Celtics.some no brainer calls are let go late in games. But even if you think that they fixed a game for Boston yet Miami was able to get the ball with a chance to tie or win on last possession?
But Conspiracy Guy gonna conspiracy. I get it.
