Do you know little defense you have to play to allow 150+ points when the opponent only attempted 20 threes? LOL but yeah let's keep acting like the all star games back in the days were soooo competitive and they played real defense

Winning team earns their conference home court advantage for the Finals. Baseball did this for a few years and then cancelled it, but I liked it and thought it worked.

Yep, not to mention it devalued having the better regular season record. The idea that a team busts their ass all season to have a good enough record to have home field advantage only to lose it in the World Series because a team that the majority of your teams players weren't on, lost a meaningless game was one of the dumbest ideas ever.

And also what people fail to mention with this dumb idea is one of the main reasons MLB tried this out was because you didn't play all the teams in the other league. This isn't a problem in the NBA

Watch any good regular season matchup. They play defense. Certainly better than college kids do.

I’ve never known a business to turn down money. For whatever reason, people still watch. I don’t get it but it posted a big number for viewers on Sunday night.
