Of course they are the favorite.
Just like Tamp
Just like Kansas City
Just like The Patriots
Just like Eagles
Just like the Patriots
Just like the Broncos
Just like the Patriots
Just like Seattle
Just like the Ravens
Just like Giants
Just like the Packers
Just like the Saints
Just like the Steelers
Just like the Patriots
And just like all these teams, they won't repeat!
A couple of those teams were a play or two away from repeating. Its certainly a possibility but there are so many teams in the league that even being the favorite doesnt mean a lot

The teams currently favored have one thing in common, a high contract for one player. With Mahomes, Allen and Prescott consuming such a large piece of the cap, having productive drafts is very important. Drafting "projects" might hurt a team in the short run. With the current 4 year rookie contract, a team that for example drafts five immediately productive players every year, can be rolling 20 rookie contracts. That can go a long way in offsetting the QB contracts.

The Patriots were 2 points and a trick play from a Fivepeat!

No offense to Bengals fans but the Bills and Chiefs are the best teams in the AFC...and arguably the NFL.

Bills vs Packers are my picks. Rogers isn't going anywhere.

You guys won 8 games with an injured QB.

Browns making the SB wouldn't be as crazy as saying the Bengals would make the SB at this point last year

This is a big upcoming season for Mayfield. He has a lot to prove. If he can have a season similar to 2020 where he had 26 TD's to only 8 int's the offense should be good.

Chiefs went 5-0 against the NFC East and the Rodgersless Packers
7-0 against the Steelers, Raiders, Browns, and Broncos
2-6 against the Bengals, Bills, Chargers, Ravens, Titans

Its really not that surprising that the Chiefs ran out of gas before the SB against better competition. Too much of their success rides on Mahomes playing well for at least 3 quarters. They need to fix that.

I think the Chiefs could be better than the Bengals, but to claim assured superiority over them is weird.

Chargers over the 49ers

Yah I think Chargers, Bengals, and Pats will duke it out. Chiefs are way too expensive at the moment and probably wont be able to resign Brown Jr. which will hurt Mahomes' pressure situation.

NFC is a giant shit show. The Packers, Cowboys, and Saints are all in cap hell. 49ers are in cap hell too but should get out of it when they release Jimmy Gaprorlrorlol but that means a new QB is going to be starting. Rams are a little tighter in cap compared to the 49ers but nowhere near as bad as the Packers/Cowboys/Saints.

San Fran might be the best team if Lance can play well because they can retain most of their other players and Jimmy Garporlrorlol sucks anyway. Seattle's not a bad option either if they retain Wilson and fix the DLine (which they have cap to do).

It'll probably be someone from the NFC West lol. NFC is going to suck hard next year. AFC has all the good teams (Rams are good of course, but they went all in with a lot of their acquisitions and need to find money. Of course they won the Super Bowl so it was worth it to go all in, but still is what it is for the future years).

Agreed, but just mostly based around how Burrow played last year it is kinda absurd to make the claim.

The league has turned Mahomes into a dink and dunk QB because they know he doesnt want to be one. If Mahomes works on his accuracy in the pocket and the Chiefs receivers become a little more reliable then they're the top team. Until they get that right, the league has a semi functioning blueprint that works if you also have a great offense on the other end.

? Did Tom Brady walk back through that door?

I think Mac Jones will develop and since he's cheap the Pats can spend money on other positions. Mac Jones was the best rookie QB out of the lot last year lol.

OH the Bills too. I forgot about them. AFC is really strong atm lol.

Cincy won’t make it back, Super Bowl hangover is real… I think they’ll get back there eventually, just not next year … I’m gonna wait until after the draft and free agency to make my prediction…
