They can say that, but they got a lot out of Jimmy even if he was in reality not all that good. Jimmy was 7th in EPA/Play. I am not sure an inexperienced QB like Lance is going to match that even with Shanahan.

If the Browns and Steelers can get ok QB play then they have solid rosters elsewhere to be good. We know what the Ravens are capable of when healthy. Definitely arguably the best division

Lots of talent in that division and its generally aimed around Steelers v Ravens. Ravens IIRC fired their defensive coordinator. Steelers could be totally changing their offense. Bengals have money to play with. Browns might actually have a healthy QB next year. Things could get interesting again.

The Bengals have a tough road no matter what they do. Obviously, they had a really good run and have lots of pieces and a great young QB but the AFC is just so loaded at the top and everybody will give them their best shot. Gonna be a long season and we will see how ot shakes out come next January. At this point, it's anybody's guess.
