Well, good for Earl for getting such a good deal. Didn't like how things ended last year but glad the Hawks didn't do this. Big overpay although when healthy, he is a HOF caliber FS. The key being healthy. Two leg injuries always a concern for a speed type position.

Great player, but Thank Goodness Dallas didn't give him that contract. I'll wait for the details, but on it's face that's a deal Dallas would have been stupid to match. No big loss for the Cowboys as his money went to Cooper. Hopefully we grab a middle of the road safety to upgrade Heath. There are still a few out there that can help at a position that must be upgraded.

Ok, you are right... but I think ET is that play maker that would have made a good D really good. They need a hard hitting leader and the excitement that comes along with a prime time player. Trust me... I’m more happy then you. I think he would have been fantastic and putting an All Pro at your one weak position would have been HUGE!

We are signing Mark Ingram to make up for Jackson's lack of passing ability...Like both signings but will have to see if Earl can stay healthy and Mark can carry Buckwheat....I am a little encouraged at least....

I don't want to act like I know for sure what Ingram will or will not do, but the games he disappointed in mostly ended in some bitter losses. He'll run all over the Bungles, but don't expect him to do that against much better defenses. Against Pittsburgh where those games are slowed down in Baltimore, it will be interesting to see how he handles that matchup. He has a pretty soft schedule however next year if SF and Arizona don't go into Baltimore and push the offense around.

Well, Brown left. Yes, I know he was inconsistent, but he hardly even targeted with LJ. LJ pretty much just threw to Snead down the stretch and the TE.
