That's some pretty good work.

I wouldn't give him away if I'm Seattle but I'd be looking to move him for a reasonable and realistic deal.

He's 29 and looking for a new deal so no way they get 1st for him and even a 2nd is a big stretch but I think they could find a taker for a 3rd round pick. He's still a top-tier safety so I think they would find a few teams willing to part with a 3rd rounder for him.

Seattle isn't in a full-on rebuild but they clearly are in a retooling mode and while keeping ET would really be nice I just think you move on from the headache and get a pick to help continue that retooling.

I find it humorous that homers are sold on Jimmy G with such a small sample to go on. One would think they would be a bit more cautious about bragging on him. We shall see how it goes.
Wasn't the schedule he faced favorable?

Could have been a dynasty but Pete Carroll lacks the necessary player relationships and leadership qualities to sustain a dynasty. Belichick could have lead this team to five superbowl wins.

Belichick wasn't smart enough to play Butler in the SB. Offense gains:L 600 yards and still loses

Butler would not have made a difference and how can you question Belichick after all his SB appearances.

You mean Jimmy G isn't a surefire first ballot hall-of-famer?

You can have Belichick in GB he has made some boneheaded decisions, and lets his ego get in the way. And you have no fucking clue what Butler could have done, 95% of the players, coaches and reporters think he would have made a difference, your in the minority like usual

I'd like him in Dallas and we could give you Jason Garrett... Is it a deal?

I understand you want to make an example out of him but don't do it at the expense of the team playing in the SB. Respect BB but he screwed that one up.

I think BB screwed up as well.
But...
None of us know what Butler did to get benched. It was obviously something BB probably made a point of contention from day 1? Whatever it was Butler deserves at least, if not more then 50% of the blame. Butler broke some rule. He let his team down as well.
BB as much of an ego maniac as he is I don't think is vindictive enough to lose a SB because of some minor issue.

It will be interesting to see how Butler does in Tenn with Vrabel? If you recall Butler was an UDFA. NE gave him his shot when no one else was going to.
