I think this is a good price for a good player. But I also think the Eagles are just making another salary cap mistake. You only have so many FA $'s to spend. Your DL is strong already. Your WRs and DBs are poor. So the best bang for your buck is a run stopper?

Other than QB there is no other areas on the team the Eagles value more than online and dline.

Not sure how much they value QB. They let the SB mvp walk.

He became the starter after Tuitt went down in week 6.

Ended up being on about 63% of all defensive snaps, behind Cam Heyward who was on 80%.

I would have preferred the Steelers had been able to Hargrave and if necessary cut Tuitt to make space.

Tuitt is great himself, but he's too often the Elf on the Shelf.
