There is a lot to like about Haskins:

Moment never seems too big
Big arm
Moves well in the pocket
Big play potential
Confidence

Needs to work on:
Accuracy
Pre-snap reads
Get the ball out faster

Maybe he can improve accuracy, he may be a guy that just misses sometimes. I am starting to feel like I see the influence of Smith on him. Miss safe if you are going to miss. Has to watch throwing behind. That is where the danger is.

The other two things I believe he will improve on.

Anyone that complained about their last offensive play I have no issue with. They duped him at the line but what difference did it make at that point. The only thing it effected was the betting line.

Alex Smith is Dan's new boy. I don't know what job he will eventually get but Dan is going to pay him a LOT more money over the course of time.

The defense does seem to fall apart whenever Norman plays. Nicholson also needs to be replaced. He clearly has talent, but that personal foul was a killer - not just because of what it did directly, but those kind of plays give a team a reputation. I don't think Anderson gets that bleeping stupid roughing call if Nicholson hadn't done that. You don't get the benefit of any doubt when someone on the team does that kind of garbage. Also, Nicholson takes too many bad angles - and his tackles tend to be too far from the LOS. Those 2 plays - the Nicholson penalty and the Anderson penalty - cost the Skins the game as much as any other plays. And the secondary's f ups in the red zone were inexcusable - if it wasn't already clear Manusky has to go... well it was already clear, but it's even more clear now. When the D doesn't even comp23ete in the red zone... how do you not even cover Ertz? That's the definition of not competing.

There's really no excuses for the continued mental breakdowns. If the universal WTF! gesture were a stat. The Skins DBs would've set a record in 2017 than broke it in 18 and broke if again in 19. Fuckin Norman said he's taking the high road by not discussing his recent benching. WTF is there to discuss, Josh? You've been beaten like a drum. Deep, short, intermediate

It's about time. Their play-calling was more predictable than my watch. They can say they were running every single first down to protect the QB, but how does it help the rookie when you put him in long yardage situations every time you pass? He could never get into a rhythm because of the predictable play-calling.

I was really impressed by Haskins yesterday. I really was
One thing that has been constant since his first start is he never seems rattled. His self confidence is so high, like Sportster said, the moment never seems to big for him.

Monty could've chopped Wentz's thumb off on his throwing hand with a machete and that call on Anderson would've still been outright bullshit. But I agree though, Monty's a knucklehead and he needs to be replaced.
