Eagles are stacked this draft. Getting 2 Ducks!!! Love Chip Kelly! Watch for Lyerla to get drafted as well to Philly.

I wouldn't exactly call it "stacked" but it's a solid draft for the Eagles. I know you are a Duck homer and all, but these guys may or may not pan out? I hope they do. Much different offense here than what went on in Eugene.

Again I hope it translates to this level. I know these guys were studs at the college level, but that doesn't mean the same at this level. I hope they bring it. They have an advantage being familiar w the coach.

And the last pick continues the theme of big people beat up little people. 6'2" 330 pound DT (write-up on ESPN implies that he will be better off at NT than a 4-3 DT). All in all Eagles got potential at every spot in the draft and selected players at positions of need. Only one that might be a reach is Marcus Smith, but it was clear Chip saw something in him, and he has earned my trust.

This is the part that still blows my mind about our k Henerey. The dude was the most accurate kicker in college at Nebraska and if I'm not mistaken, he holds a ton of NCAA records as a k. Yet here we are signing a k bc he is terrible? Just blows my mind.

This is the part that still blows my mind about our k Henerey. The dude was the most accurate kicker in college at Nebraska and if I'm not mistaken, he holds a ton of NCAA records as a k. Yet here we are signing a k bc he is terrible? Just blows my mind.

That's NCAA - much different than the pros - he can't kick a long field goal to save his life, he's kicked a lot of short FG's in his career - and he screwed up in the playoff game as well - cost the Eagles a win - they can't have that anymore - need to find someone with a better leg than him - kickers are replaceable

Oh I agree that kickers are replaceable. It just surprised me that he was a stud kicker in college and was very good as a rookie kicker here. His stats as a rookie were solid. Now here we are today signing a kicker.
