A bit puzzling... however he has speed and they say he looks ok in coverage.

Lets just hope this entire draft doesn't seem like their reaching. I'll give Chip the benefit of the doubt for now. Lets see how well chip does in molding Smith into a player worthy of his draft spot.

I'm not gonna judge just yet. This draft needed to be a straight up defensive haul, it's only round one and they saw something in this kid, I'm curious as for today, gained that extra 3rd so lets see how it plays out..

It won't be Chip molding him, but Billy Davis. Davis likes this guy. We needed a pass rusher and we got one. Now let's get Jordan Mathews.

Somethingvery interesting that I just found out. Mathews is the nephew of Jerry Rice. Now I have a bigger mancrush on him. Great bloodlines here.

Very bright kid. Anyone that gets into Vanderbilt is a safe bet they have a good head on their shoulder. Can't say that for to too many schools from the SEC. I'm sure JR has been working with him as well. Chip loves him.

Yeah, seeing where pass rushers have gone this draft so far, I have to say that their first round pick is looking less bad. I really believe in what Chip has brought to this team, so hopefully they really saw something in Smith that no one else really saw and I love the Matthews pick.

Huh, this is interesting... Mathews, Huff, Cooper, Maclin are our receiver corps now. All of our recivers are around 6 feet + and 200lbs.
