Minnesota needs a PG that is a threat to score from range and that can get others involved. They need to move on from Rubio as a starter, and I think Dragic is a guy that could make them a much more dynamic team overall.

MIA: Kris Dunn, 1st round pick (2018 top 3 protected)

MIN: Goran Dragic

Miami gets a young PG with tons of potential and a 2018 pick in a draft where they will be dealing their own pick to PHX from the original Dragic trade so they could salvage something now and later.

Minnesota is paying a steep price, but Dunn is expendable w/Dragic and they have so much young talent it's not the end of the world if they deal one future 1st rounder.

I would prefer a 2017 1st round pick (if they have one) but sign me up now. Now is the time to trade Goran. Playing his best basketball in a few years.

Wolves better off keeping Dunn and trying to move Rubio instead.

Possibly. Depends on how much they believe in him/are patient enough to wait on him.

Dragic is the type of leader their teams needs imo, they are too young for their own good. Agree they should get rid of Rubio in any scenario though.

Uh, I would give up Rubio over Dunn.

No way Minny gives up their 1st rounder in this class unless it's for a star in a package deal for a someone like Boogie or something, which won't happen. Especially with how bad they've been to start the year.

I could see a 3 way deal going down with Sacramento, Minnesota and Miami.

Sacramento trades expiring contracts and 2017 second rd pick. Receives Rubio
Minnesota trades: Rubio and future 2nd. Receives Dragic.
Miami receives expiring contracts, 2 future seconds.

Would be the Suns clusterfuck all over again.

Both Rubio and Dragic would feel like they should be the starter.

I could see something like that, think Miami will get a better return than that, but Riley will probably love to take on expiring contracts, he wants to reload, not re-build knowing him.

Suns have been one giant point guard clusterfuck ever since Nash departed if we're being honest.

If you're Minnesota? Of course. But Miami would need Dunn in return more than likely to pull the trigger.

Then Thibbs shouldn't do it.

Rubio is not going to get better.

But, if they keep bringing in pg's, he could start to get BITTER.

You have to get him off the roster.

....even if it's in a separate deal.

I would not deal Dunn yet.

Some other teams that could use Dragic:

1) Milwaukee
2) Orlando
3) Utah (they have Hill, but Goran is still an upgrade)
4) Philly? For Noel?

Just spitballin'

Apparently, the Heat want Gay.

.....and Collison.

I don't get why they want Darren.....which makes me not believe this.

When Dragic forced a trade to Miami two years ago, he thought he was joining a team one piece away — him — from being a conference contender. Today he’s leading a roster that’s a couple of losses from falling below Philadelphia in the East basement. Dragic is open to a trade, league sources told The Vertical, and Miami has pursued that option. An early season swap with Sacramento for Rudy Gay fell apart when the Heat sought Darren Collison, sources said, and teams that have probed Miami about Dragic have found the Heat open to offers.

Another crazy trade idea:

SAC: Bradley Beal, Otto Porter Jr. (playing MUCH better this year), Markieff Morris and two 1st rounders
WSH: DeMarcus Cousins

Kings get two young starters with upside, a clown crybaby team cancer to replace Cousins in Kieff and two 1sts.

Pair Boogie and Wall in DC with not much else around them, maybe try to swap Gortat for a wing? Idk.

I think it's time for the Magic to part ways with Hennigan.

They spent three 1st rounders to draft Payton and Gordon.

Payton is HOT GARBAGE and Gordon is playing out of position because they traded for Ibaka and signed Green.

They gave Biyombo an OBSCENE amount of money when they already have a starting Center in Vuvecic.

They are a mess.

I actually like Boogie to Washington.

Maybe reuniting will Wall will make him happy.

Maybe they will both be so petulant that they replace Mcgee as a HOFer of Shaqtin a fool.

But, that price is way to steep and wouldn't work money wise.

Beal makes more than Cousins....like 5 mil more.

Add Keef and Porter and you would need to add.* gulp * Barnes.

No way I trade Dunn for an old Dragic. I like the move to land Dragic but Dunn is too much to give up. Minn isn't that 1 player away move so I wouldn't do this.
