what direction do you think the Isles will go bolts?I can tell you this If landeskog is available I would hate to see him on A line with Tavares. He actually reminds me A lot of Parise

I doubt Larsson will be available so I expect the Islanders to take a forward. I don't see Hamilton or Murphy as top 5 picks. I know some do though. As you both saw Mackenzie talked to 10 scouts from 10 different teams & the only defenseman in the top 5 was Larsson.

Garth will take his guy. Even if it means trading down.

To me Colorado is the key to who the Devils & Islanders get to choose from.

If they take Landescog I expect Larsson to be available at 4. Florida needs offense in a bad way. Couturier makes a lot of sense for them. Tallon seems to like the big guys. Huberdeau & Strome are possibilities.

If Colorado takes Larsson then Florida is going to have a decision to make. Landescog or one of the Centers.

I expect the Islanders to end up with one of Huberdeau, Couturier or Strome in no particular order. They might trade down especially if Landescog is available. I have a feeling Ottawa wants him or Strome in a bad way.

Hamilton & Murphy are possibilities but I'd be pissed if Garth took either player at 5. If he wants one of them he better trade down.

I think your right bolts I also feel Colorado's move is going to decide the direction of A lot of teams I just can't see them passing Landeskog. They are pretty deep at center Larrson doesn't seem like A neccessity to them.with Stewart gone landaskog would seem like the best fit for them.I like Murphy A lot but top 5 seems like A bit of A stretch to me

I really wouldn't be surprised if some team traded up to get Murphy. He's the best skating defenseman since Coffey or Niedermayer. I really don't know how good he is defensively though. Think Mike Green 2.0 though cause Murphy has a great slapper.

bring money RKO its free to get in but your going to want to buy stuff at the equiptment sale.$50 A stick is A bargain as it is just for the stick. The fact that it was used by the player makes it that much better. Its definately A great experience this year should be better.I remember the first year they did it Scott Stevens was signing autos

Apparently Lou Lamoriello himself was in attendance tonight in Victoriaville, Quebec to watch the QMJHL game between the Saint John Sea Dogs and Victoriaville Tigres. No doubt he was there mainly to watch Jonathan Huberdeau who just happened to score the OT winner.

If I get A chance sometime soon I'll post up A pic of that Jurco card I have so you can see it Jsteed.I still can't believe some of the devs fans at the swamp could complain about winning the draft lottery. Then again this is SDAFIFA we're talking about

Yeah that would be cool. Is it #91 or #13. He was #91 last year but switched to #13 this year.

Was he complaining about winning the lottery? I kinda skimmed through those posts. I did notice that one guy was complaining that they didn't tank so that they could get the #1 overall pick. I could see his point that it would be nice to pick that high if you're not making the playoffs anyway. But he said it was BS that they didn't purposely tank. :L

I will post the pic when I get home tonight can't remember what number he was wearing but when I saw the st johns logo I immediately thought of you being as your a st johns fan.I don't pay no mind to Fifa he is a fair weather hockey fan I also don't think he understands the meaning of pride or some of the talent involved early in this years draft.I can see some nhl talent well past 5

I'm just happy the Flames have a 1st round pick in this year's entry draft. No waiting until pick #64 in the 3rd round like last year. Although that pick (Max Reinhart) is playing very well for the Kootenay Ice in the playoffs.

Flames have some under-the-radar prospects in the system including T.J. Brodie, Tim Erixon and Ryan Howse. It doesn't have the sizzle of some other teams prospects, but it's not all doom and gloom either.

Don't usually pay this much attention to the draft dash but after our poor start I took a special interest.May not be as deep as some previous drafts but I also don't think its as weak as some of the experts indicated. What do you think the flames biggest need is dash?

Erixon was a 1st round pick dash. How can he be under the radar when he's the teams 2nd rated prospect behind only Backlund?

Where are the Flames picking 13th? Do they have their 2nd & 3rd round picks or were they traded?

What I mean is that the average hockey fan looks at the Flames prospects and comes away with "there's nothing there, the cupboard is empty". I don't consider you an average hockey fan with your amount of knowledge and attention that you devote to up-and-coming prospects.

You're probably right.

However the playoffs are still a lot of fun to watch. I know this experience is very new to you & all Devils fans, but depending on who the new coach is your team will probably be in the playoffs next year. I really wouldn't be surprised if Larry Robinson gets the job.

Larry Robinson wouldn't surprise me kind of hoping for Hitchcock or Nolan no matter how you look at it this team obviously needs A veteran coach who knows discipline and motivation none of that things happen oh well jmac shit

I believe Nolan has been screwed over by the league. I doubt any team would hire him. I don't know what happened but it's unfortunate. Ted is a very good coach & I wish him well.

Can Hitchcock change his style of coaching? The Devils are going to be a younger team. He's a disciplinarian to the core. The players can only take it for so long before they tune him out. See Mike Keenan.

I watched Erixon play a couple of SEL playoff games in the last month Dash. I think you're going to be VERY happy with him when he ends up joining the Flames. He is, IMO, a real top 4 D-man. He seems like a guy who'll be able to play in all situations.
