also, I am one of the few that actually like Bo and his passion

I'm a Pelini fan as well. A bit biased though, he played @ Ohio State.

As someone that personally asked Demorrio Williams if Bo would be a good coach. Demorrio told me that the defense would run through a wall for Bo Pelini. Demorrio played for Bo in 2003.

Anything was better than Callahan and Cosgrove. Callahan might have been a good head coach if he fricking fired Cosgrove. But he would not do that. Fine with me, I was perfectly fine with Callahan, Cosgrove, and Steve Pederson all getting canned. They made a lot of money and were complete fuckups.

Yes, I was an acquaintance of Demorrio Williams.

not even close. BO was much better than Callahan
While Bo had better records, I'd argue he did far worse damage from a fan relations and talent standpoint. Under his watch, Nebraska football became the most polarizing topic in the state and he left us with a far worse roster than Callahan did. Bo had his best years with Callahan's players.

The one guys window had closed, he was sitting on a top 5 recruiting class when he was rightfully canned, albeit with John Blake it may have come with consequences. While I liked Bo as a person I thought he should have been let go 2 years sooner than he was, both are good coordinators just not HC material, neither would bit the bullet and hire assistants with more experience that would undermine their own super powers and in both cases it could have made a huge difference

i agree with this. honestly i think if Callahan would have sucked it up and kept Bo on in the transition as the DC, that tenure might have turned out a great deal different.
