Kap, in an interview yesterday:

“I don’t think it hurts to talk a little bit more about Pat Bailey, who our coaching staff and our scouts and basically everybody in the organization believes can be a major-league catcher right now, a defender, who has a little bit more work to do at the plate. He’s a guy who can make an impact on our roster this year."

Another nail in Joey's coffin...

Wow, this org really knows how to motivate players to be their best.

That roster is total stealth. No one is on any radar except Whisenhunt.
Frechette was once a prospect of some promise, but, like many other primarily 1st base players the Giants have picked, he has not developed as hoped.
I thought Alexander Suarez was a decent outfield prospect and am surprised he is repeating low A ball.

I am interested to see how some of the 2022 draft picks do with San Jose (Matt Higgns, Zach Morgen, Andrew Kachel, Hayden Birdsong, etc)

Interesting that Garrett Frechette didn't even play opening night for San Jose. Edison Mora got the start, which, quite frankly, I'm surprised is even still in the organization.

Pitchers - Will Bednar, Seth Corry, Rohan Handa, Trevor McDonald, Landen Roupp, Drew Strotman
Catchers - Gary Sanchez
Infielders - Connor Cannon, Marco Luciano, Sean Roby, Colton Welker, Brady Whalen

I was there; it looked like the IL for Perez. Which probably means his time in SF is done. Bart will be back, Sanchez will be ready, Sabol on the team.

My guess is Wynns comes up tomorrow.
Unless Bart is ready, whoever gets added is going to need a 40 man roster spot.

Perez would he be done in SF?

How badly was he hurt?
