Been thinking about DK Metcalf. Guy's a monster and incredibly fast, albeit straight line speed.

One of the knocks against him, that allowed him to fall into the late second round, was his poor showing in the cone drill. Apparently Metcalf doesn't move well laterally. That means he should have trouble getting off the line of scrimmage if he is being blocked. However, he'll just run over the average, well every, corner.

Therefore, why not put a mobile defensive end over him at the line. If he can be slowed down for just two or three seconds, he's out of the play. Then the defensive end can join any rush.

Probably a dumb idea but I'd like to see some team try it.

Yeah, Packers moreso vs. the run, it seems while the Seahawks secondary is just getting blown up week after week. Really tough to watch from a fans perspective because Pete Carrol's defenses are known for being good vs. the pass. Honestly, of the top teams in the NFC, it looks like the Saints might have the best balance.

Yep. The team just can't afford any mistakes. Especially turnovers. Wilson got absolutely pounded by the Bills D yesterday though and still put up 34 points. Take away those fumbles and ints and the defense still gives up too much but Seattle might have come out if there with a win.
