No ground is made on the Pirates however, who stave off collapse for 1 more day by beating the Cardinals, which brings the hard charging Reds to within .5 of 2nd place.

Indians, Yankees, Braves, Dodgers, Nats, Jays all win.

Red Sox, Rays, Royals, Orioles all lose.
